Telematics Opportunities for Fleets in Mexico and LatAm

In Latin America, more than 3,4 million vehicles integrate Telematics Technology, and the market is expected to reach 6,9 million units by 2023 (Fleet Management in the Americas Report)

The integration of Telematics in Fleet Management in Latin America has been driven since 2014 mainly for reasons of road safety, followed by cost savings and operational efficiency in the coming years.

The leading cause of traffic accidents globally is Distracted Driving, followed by Poor Vehicle Maintenance, poor road conditions and wear and tear on automotive parts.

In Colombia, cargo vehicle drivers have ranked second in fatalities during the last three years, according to the National Road Safety Observatory.
