Didcom BLEG obtains FCC and IC Certifications and Bluetooth® Authorized Qualification
We are excited to share that our Didcom BLEG solution has obtained FCC & IC Certifications and Bluetooth® Authorized Qualification by their respective organizations to support the quality standard of our product in the market.
At Didcom we promote a culture of continuous improvement from the core of our collaborators to capture and transmit our experience, professionalism and quality with value-added products. It is because of this commitment that we achieved the Certifications for our Didcom BLEG solution, transmitting confidence and security to our clients in the international market.
FCC and IC Certifications
The FCC Certification, granted by the Federal Communications Commission, is an EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility Test) certification required for the distribution in the United States of America of wireless communication equipment and systems, including radio interference limits and methods of measurement, as well as certification systems and organizational management systems.
The IC Certification responds to the same requirements as the FCC Certification, but carried out by Industry Canada, allowing the distribution of our Didcom BLEG solution in the territory of Canada.
Bluetooth® Authorized Qualification
The Bluetooth® qualification, granted by the Bluetooth SIG (Bluetooth Special Interest Group) association, is a worldwide standard for simple and secure communication and positioning of devices, for which all products that integrate a Bluetooth® component in their architecture must be certified in this technology standard for the use of the brand, guaranteeing safe and supported marketing.
As of February 1, 2023, our Didcom BLEG solution is already listed in the database of qualified devices as an authorized product for the use of the Bluetooth® brand in the market.
We appreciate the support of our Project Management area for carrying out the corresponding procedures, as well as extending our gratitude for the support of the Legal area for the analysis of each and every one of the terms of the contract in the Bluetooth® section, and for the Electronics area for meeting the technical requirements and implementing the pertinent adjustments for the tests.
